Best Pork Casseroles

Pork Chop Casserole

  • 4 pork chops
  • 3-4 baking potatoes
  • 1 can cream of celery or mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water or 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup water
  • 1-2 medium onions
  • 1 and 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly grease casserole dish.  Place pork chops in casserole dish.  Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.  Peel potatoes and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices.  Spread over pork chops.  Cut onions into 1/4 inch thick slices and spread over potatos.  Sprinkle with pepper and 1/4 teaspoon salt.  Blend soup and water (or milk and water); pour over potatos.  Cover and bake for 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours or until done.
